Moving is bittersweet. After years in the bay area, it was time for this family to say good-bye to San Francisco and head back to Estonia. I could tell there were a lot of mixed emotions, and having recently moved myself, I certainly understood what they were going through. Although I wish we could have met sooner, I'm so glad I got the opportunity to spend some time with them before they moved. We did get to experience the infamous Bay Area microclimates though by starting out in the very cold and foggy Golden Gate Park then crossing the bridge over to warm and sunny Sausalito!
And yes, there were good-byes but there was also celebration! It was their youngest 5th birthday!! Happy Birthday!
